Welcome to my first ever travel blog post!
Not going to lie, I have been thinking about this list ever since I started working on launching this blog. I have been on the road since March of this year and let me tell you, it has been a tough one. I am currently in South America which has been such an amazing experience. I never thought I would see this continent and its countries and I am so grateful!
Something I struggle with a ton while travelling is trying to find ways to make my 100 square foot hotel room feel a little bit more like home and a little less like a dorm room. In this post, I am going to be showing you my absolute must-haves for short and long-term travelling that are sure to bring a little bit more peace and home to your next trip. Let dive into it!
1. DASH Mini 2-cup Rice Cooker
I absolutely had to add this amazing appliance first. The DASH rice cooker has been my savior when it comes to making my own meals while on the road. The rice cooker comes with a detachable bowl, lid, a spatula, and a 1-cup measuring cup. Inside the box, you will also find a mini recipe book! It holds recipes of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and more! It is the perfect appliances when you are looking for a nice homecooked meal, or if you are just sick of eating out all the time.

2. My New Favorite Luggage Organizers
I simply love these bags. They are the absolute best thing when it comes to keeping all of your clothes separated and organized, especially your smaller pieces. Currently, while on the road, I use these bags to help keep my underwear and bras separated so they don’t get lost in my suitcases. I also love them for storing non-clothing items that are smaller.

3. My Favorite Carry-on
I bought my Herschel bag on a complete last-minute impulse before leaving for South America. I was leaving the next day and took it right off the rack, thinking “Yeah, this looks good enough”. Now, it is my absolute favorite bag. I have used it as my personal item for the travel days where we are flying. During regular work days, it’s my everyday backpack.

4. My Favorite Travel Water Bottle
My Hydroflask travels everywhere with me. I actually lost it right before a 2-month contract I had back in 2022 and I was devastated, to say the least. Luckily, I found it right after I came back home and it has gone everywhere with me since. They are amazing water bottles to keep your water at just the right temperature for long periods. On top of that, they are so fun to decorate with stickers from your travels!

5. My favorite Suitcases
Samsonite luggage will always be my go-to luggage cases. They are a little pricey, but they are reliable and durable. I have had my luggage set for 2 years now, and they are in amazing condition. Take it from someone who had their bags thrown into buses and planes every other week for travel- these bags can’t be beat!
